Assessment performed by TKO's Roofing Contractor for an initial residential project evaluation of the services requested. The location of assessment must be within a fifty-mile (50mi) radius of Poultney VT, to be eligible for our free assessment service. Project assessments further than 50-miles of Poultney VT are subject to an assessment service fee based on the project location. Rate of service fee will be invoiced prior to the Assessment meeting. The Contractor starts with a visual inspection of the property, dwelling, and area of service, measurements are taken (as necessary), and initial photographs of worksite/property area, dwelling, and the area(s) to be serviced. An assessment is the initial project meeting after submitting a request for service. The initial assessment provides the opportunity for potential clients to meet with our Roofing Contractor to discuss the overall goal and vision of the requested services, review the Contractors recommendations and course of action, and to discuss project financials, and a project budget. Following the initial assessment an 'estimate of work' order will be sent by email, usually within two-three weeks from the assessment date. The initial assessment may be completed without the requestor's attendance; however, it's strongly recommended to be present. On certain projects, an Eagle View Report (satellite Imaging) may be warranted. To obtain a copy of the Eagle View Report with the submitted estimate, payment must be made to TKO to cover the costs associated with the report.
